Privacy policy

PSG News privacy policy: cookie-less analytics, Google AdSense advertising, your rights.

This page explains which data is processed when you visit PSG News, why, and what your rights are (General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR).

Data controller

The site's publisher, reachable at [email protected] (see the legal notice).

No account, no form

The site offers no registration, comments or newsletter. You entrust us with no data, unless you write to us by e-mail: your message and address are then kept for as long as needed to reply, and at most one year.

Cookie-less analytics

We measure traffic with a tool built into the site, without cookies or third-party trackers:

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing the site's traffic, without being able to identify you.

Advertising: Google AdSense

The site is funded by ads served by Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google and its partners may set cookies and process data (advertising identifiers, IP address, pages visited) to display ads and measure their audience; with your consent, these ads may be personalised.

Embedded content

Some articles embed X (Twitter) or Instagram posts, or YouTube videos. This content is loaded from those platforms' servers, which may set their own cookies and collect data as if you visited their sites; YouTube videos use the "youtube-nocookie" domain. Please refer to their privacy policies.

Technical data

The site is delivered by Cloudflare (protection and acceleration) and hosted by OVH. These providers process technical logs (IP address, timestamp, requested page) for security and service operation, kept for a few days to a few weeks.

Storage in your browser

The site stores in your browser, and only there, your light or dark theme preference and a reading session identifier (cleared when the tab is closed) used to count page views within a single visit. None of this identifies you.

Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of data concerning you, and object to processing, by writing to [email protected]. As we keep no identifying data about visitors, these requests mostly concern e-mail exchanges. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (in France, the CNIL, www.cnil.fr).

Children

The site does not target children and does not knowingly collect any data about minors.
